RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT and TESTING CENTER.
PEER’s Research and Development Center is a facility dedicated to product design, testing and continuous improvement of PEER products. Product Development Engineers continually communicate with Application Engineers to properly define critical features of bearing designs for specific applications as well as general purpose usage. New products are constantly being developed within the Engineering groups to expand the PEER product offering and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Testing Capabilities Include: fatigue life testing for deep groove ball bearings and tapered roller bearings, mud slurry, salt spray, hardness, tensile and metallurgical. PEER conducts testing at in-house and independent facilities.
Failure Analysis Lab
PEER’s in-house Failure Analysis Lab can professionally test, examine and analyze a wide range of bearing performance parameters. Using our tools and experience we guide customers into understanding what could have or did cause the early failure and help them understand how to prevent an occurrence from happening again.
