Bearing Manufacturer
PEER manufactures a full line of agricultural, radial, mounted unit ball bearings
and tapered roller bearings. We manufacturer our products in TS- 16949 certified
factories we own and control and have flexible capabilities that allow for low to
high volume production.

PEER sells our products globally and has sales and engineering offices in North

1943 – Archer Bearing was formed and later renamed PEER Bearing Company
1961 – PEER Bearing Company was established
1985 – PEER begins importing bearings from China
1995 – PEER built their first manufacturing facility, XPZ, in Xinchang, Zhejiang, China
1998 – PEER manufacturing facility XPZ was ISO9001, QS9000 certified
1999 – PEER established global headquarters in Waukegan, Illinois
1999 – PEER built manufacturing facility, CPZ, in Changshan, Zhejiang, China
2002 – PEER built manufacturing facility, XPH, in Changshan, Zhejiang, China
2003 – PEER manufacturing facility CPZ was ISO14001 certified
2003 – PEER establishes sales office and warehouse in UK
2004 – PEER manufacturing facility XPZ was ISO14001, ISO/TS16949 certified
2005 – PEER manufacturing facility CPZ was ISO/TS16949 certified
2005 – PEER establishes sales office SPZ in Shanghai China
2007 – PEER Bearing Company was ISO9001 certified
2008 – PEER was acquired by SKF but continues to run as an independent entity
2009 – PEER establishes sales and engineering office in São Paulo, Brazil
2010 – PEER establishes sales and engineering office in Bologna, Italy
2010 – PEER establishes sales and engineering office in Frankfurt, Germany
2010 – PEER built XPZ3 manufacturing facility
2011 – PEER adds additional manufacturing lines to CPZ
